Who we are
Sciatica Sucks is a one-to-one movement coaching service run by Connor Byrne [business name and registration details, if any]. “We” and “us” mean Connor. You can contact us about your information at connor.sciatica@gmail.com.
What we collect
- Your name and email address, used to set up your account and log you in.
- Health information you give us: your intake answers (where your pain is, which side, any diagnosis, what you’ve tried, what makes it better or worse, your goals, and your answers to the safety questions), your daily pain scores and notes.
- Your program: the exercises and habits Connor plans for you and which ones you tick off.
- Your sessions with Connor, and when you accepted the coaching agreement.
- Notes Connor keeps about your coaching. You can ask to see them.
Health information is sensitive. We collect only what we need to coach you, and only with your consent, which you give when you fill in the intake form and log pain in the app.
How we use it
- To plan and adjust your program and track how you’re going.
- To arrange sessions and contact you about your coaching.
- To tell you to see a doctor if an answer suggests you need medical care.
We don’t sell your information, use it for advertising, or share it with anyone for their own use.
Who else handles it
We use these services to run the app. They store or process your information for us, not for themselves:
- Supabase: database, login and video storage. Your data is stored in Singapore.
- Vercel: hosts the website.
- [Resend: sends login emails. Planned before launch.]
If you book through Calendly or message us on WhatsApp, those services handle what you send them under their own privacy policies.
[List the countries each service may process data in, if the applicable law requires it.]
Who can see it
Only you and Connor. The app’s access rules stop other clients seeing anything of yours, and information is encrypted in transit.
How long we keep it
While you’re a client, and for [period] after your last session, unless you ask us to delete it sooner or we need to keep a record for [legal, tax or insurance reasons].
Your choices
- Ask for a copy of everything we hold about you. We can export it for you.
- Ask us to correct anything that’s wrong.
- Ask us to delete your account and everything in it. This can’t be undone.
- [Complain to the privacy regulator in your country: name it once the applicable law is confirmed.]
Cookies
The app uses cookies only to keep you logged in. There are no analytics, tracking or advertising cookies.
Which law applies
[Confirm in legal review: which privacy laws apply, based on where Connor operates and where clients live, e.g. the Australian Privacy Act, the GDPR for clients in the EU or UK, or others.]
Changes
If we change this policy, we’ll update the date above and tell you in the app or by email.
